Under the pressures of and the accelerated pace of daily life, the family has indeed become more and more isolated from its extensions into grandparents, relatives, neighbours and the local community. Alchemy suggests ( ” as above, so below” ) that as we can reintegrate our families, mellow out the pressures and strengthen the bonds between family members, we can better affect our society and world towards less chance of violent explosions. This should be an extremely high priority to a true Earth Activist. Conscious conception, mellow pregnancy, birth and child care lay the foundations for the kind of loving bonds which help keep families from exploding apart.
The combination of love and passion in both parents results in the blending of both of the parents in the child. The new creature should be the offspring of a love that is passionate, the deeper the love, the more human the child. Parents first, greatest and most important duty, consists in being sexually and affectionately fully awakened when the seed of a new being is received. This mutually beneficial symbiosis comes full circle at the love encounter of birth, which strange as it may seem, is not “splash down” but the apogee of the flight, the high point of future parents is experienced together.
